I am a dynamic and resourceful professional with a strong foundation in effective communication and problem-solving. I have a very strong work ethic as I push myself and strive to achieve the highest goals possible, and i have a strong passion for pursuing a role within the HR sector as i value its dynamic nature which will allow me to build on my research skills, critical and analytical skills, strong communication skills and interpersonal skills.   • Company Overview: London Government focused on delivering the manifesto commitments made by the Mayor of London.
  • In this role, I worked within London Government and attended a range of meetings that allowed me to gain a thorough insight into the diverse range of engagement strategies used within City Hall. This was an internship which allowed me to work with multiple teams, including Parliamentary Affairs Team, Marketing Team, Mayoral Advisers and the Universal Free School Meals Team.
  • I created a clear presentation that included biographies of key Cabinet Members of the newly elected government, including the Prime Minister, the Environment Secretary and the Foreign Secretary. These were linked highly to the mayor's priorities at the time which is why I opted to offer biographies of these figures.
  • I sent briefing material to MPs, Peers, Local Council leaders and UK Mayors, on the Mayor of London's Free School Meals initiative. I achieved this through using my strong communication skills to present forward reasoning in how the Mayor of London could utilise certain social media apps as advertising for the Free School Meals campaign.
  • Developed my research skills through exploring previous campaigns of the Mayor of London and applied the different methods used to target and identify the best campaign methods for the required audience.
  • I held one to one sessions with colleagues from across the business to gain further insights into their work, these included the Senior Marketing Officer, the Head of Parliamentary Public Affairs and Strategic partnerships, Government Relations Officers and the Head of Strategic Communications. Within these sessions I was inquisitive, I created multiple summaries of the work of the different teams through these conversations. These conversations helped to gain a stronger insight/understanding into how these roles contribute to the Mayor of London, fulfilling the manifesto commitments.

  • As a Crew Member at McDonald's, I carry out a range of different tasks, including: stocking up on limited items to ensure efficient service is maintained, preparing customers' orders, accurately taking payments and orders in a fast-paced environment, and providing customers with a friendly and efficient service from start to finish.
  • I demonstrated my effective communication skills when resolving an issue with an unsatisfied customer. In this instance, I greeted the customer with a friendly smile and showed compassion. I actively listened to the customer as they explained the issue and took full responsibility in replacing their order with the correct one. After this, I replaced the order and checked back with the customer to ensure everything was to their satisfaction and correct, they were content.
  • I have shown my strong work ethic by completing tasks given with full efficiency and determination. For instance, when working during a busy Saturday shift, I ensured that customers did not have to wait for long and were not left frustrated. I served around 120 customers within an hour. I focused on serving the most urgent orders first to avoid any frustrations from customers.
  • I presented my ability to pay close attention to detail and accuracy through ensuring customers receive the correct orders and requested customisations. For example, I had a situation where I was packing orders and had noticed that a customer had requested a burger with no pickles included, the burger which was given to me had pickles on it. Due to my thorough checking of the customers receipt, I was able to notify my coworkers that they had given the wrong burger for this customers order, which then resulted in the customer receiving the correct order that they had paid for.
