  • I completed the Linklaters legal foundations job simulation provided by forage in which I learnt the basics of law and being a solicitor at a major law firm. I had tasks including time management, writing up due diligence reports and writing up a memorandum. This was extremely valuable to me as it was a beneficial foray into life at a law firm and helped me understand the inner workings greatly.

This was online so I did tasks a lawyer would do recently participated in Hogan Lovells' job simulation on the Forage platform, and it was incredibly useful for understanding what it might be like to join a Corporate and Commercial Law team at Hogan Lovells.

I worked on a project to analyse and support a cross-border merger and acquisition, review financing and litigation materials, assess competition law implications, and advise on structuring for non-profit entities.

I practiced using legal research tools and reviewing transaction and litigation documents and built my legal analysis and client communication skills in a real-world context.

Doing this programme confirmed that I really enjoy working on complex transactional and regulatory matters for clients, and I'm excited to apply these skills on a Corporate Law team at a company like Hogan Lovells.
