  • TDR Heavy Haulage took me on as an apprentice on the 6th of July 2011, I passed my course which was 'Driving a goods vehicle' in early December 2011.
  • My job at TDR was driving a 3.5ton pick-up, collecting and picking up mainly railway machine attachments to where they needed to be all over the country.
  • If I was ever in the company yard, I would do any minor repairs that needed to be done on the trucks and trailers.
  • I also second manned wide loads and helped the drivers load and unload machines and attachments.
  • While at TDR I acquired my Class 2 (Category C) licence, plant loader and securer certificate, lorry mounted crane certificate and PTS Rail card.
