Providing personal care to residents supporting and promoting their independence choice, dignity and overall
well being.
● Providing care in line with each resident's personal care plan and notify the care supervisor, if residents need any changes in line with planned care day.
● Provide on-going support for the residents and their family.
● Closely monitoring and reporting on resident's daily progress, ensuring all observations and interventions are recorded and escalated to the care supervisor.
● Support residents and participate in the development of meaningful activities and therapies.
● Report all concerns and incidents in line with the company incident reporting and whistleblowing procedure, including safeguarding adult's procedure.
● Overseeing the reporting of all Covid-19 test results across the Elton house, including day to day workforce testing management.
● Managing testing-related administration, ensuring that all visitors, residents and colleagues administrative paperwork and testing protocols are completed to the highest standards.
● Maintaining databases, notifying the management team of positive Covid-19 test results and managing the processes related to those positive cases.
● Point of contact for all testing queries, providing support to those undertaking testing and advising team members and visitors on new testing processes.
● Admin work including ordering new testing kits, booking covid courier, filing and organising paperwork, filling forms for residents and calling resident's family for any visitation changes including reception duties.
● Taking swabs samples for covid 19 of residents, visitors and employees.
