I work diligently to research and validate data in support of credit operations such as legal aid billing schedules.
I began my employment at 3PB as a barristers clerk. Taking bookings, managing diaries, processing payments and general clerking duties. I developed the credit control team and took on my current role as the family legal aid billing manager. I am responsible for over 80 barristers across our 6 Centres. I deal with all of the legal aid family cases. I manage FGF, FAS, CF1 and events based cases. From billing, fee chasing, aged debt management and negotiating fee contracts. I also process payments and reconcile crime legal aid fees as well as local authority terms and fee chasing.
I contact solicitors, judiciary, barristers and Clerks via email, Teams, telephone and Zoom calls to discuss payment plans, aged debts and general fee administration.
I organised various social functions such as drinks functions, lectures and Christmas lunches/dinners for all members of Chambers.
