MEng Thesis “The Effect of Pre-Cracking on Shear Behaviour of Reinforced Concrete”

• Conducted experimental and numerical investigations on reinforced concrete beams with and without pre-existing cracks to study the influence of pre-cracking on shear capacity, crack propagation, and failure modes.
• Produced engineering calculations and interpreted experimental and numerical data to evaluate structural performance and compare analytical predictions with laboratory test results.
• Developed strong analytical, technical reporting, research, and problem-solving skills while independently managing a complex engineering project.
