Inspiration for Leaders Rising was sparked by my journey of resilience and transformation in overcoming lymphoma in 2016–17. Guided by exceptional coaches and counsellors, my worldview was profoundly impacted, catalysing my path to professional coaching.

Cancer-free since, when testing positive for BRCA2 gene mutation in 2023, I proactively decided to undergo risk-reducing mastectomy and oophorectomy surgeries in 2024/25. Both were successful and served to deepen my belief in the power of agency, personal leadership, and the gift of choice.

Shaped by these experiences, my coaching approach is grounded in empathy, courage, and clarity, which enriches my professional insight and spurred momentum to launch Leaders Rising during my recovery earlier this year with a clear mission: to help others navigate challenges, lead with purpose, and thrive at their full potential.

  • I am always on the move and work out and practice yoga every day. My love for being in nature and engaging my creative side through music and dance brings me joy and energy. All of these activities help me stay grounded, energized, and inspired. Endlessly curious by nature, I follow a diverse practice of self-reflection and personal development, staying up to date on new advancements in coaching to deepen my awareness and expand my coaching repertoire. With a particular interest in emerging high-performance coaching research, I enjoy testing new techniques on myself to develop a wider range of tools to support my clients' growth, and I am privileged to provide informal coaching support to neurodivergent clients through referrals.
