- I worked with the Electronic Patient Record (EPR) team as a Project Manager for four years.
- In this time, I was involved in several projects
- My main roles were to coordinate with the main stakeholders to ensure the projects are run as smoothly as they possibly can be and completed on time with the planned resources

- I worked in Radiology on projects running at the time
- I coordinated the introduction of PACS to the Oxford Mammography department starting with the planning up to installation and early life support
- I was heavily involved in coordination the engineers to help with the smooth transition from analogue to digital system
- I also worked on ICE which is the general practitioner's electronic ordering system for diagnostic tests
- I coordinated with different practices who were not sure what needed to be done and ensured that all the General Practitioners (GP's) were using the new system
- I had to produce and talk through the ICE usage reports every month to the program board and other attendees
- Updating the risk register and liaising with the Computerized Information System (CRIS) team to sort out problems within the project

- During this period, I was still working in radiology but I got a secondment post of senior project manager within the EPR team at the Churchill hospital.
- My main duties as a senior project manager involved managing the clinical implementation of the electronic Patient Records (EPR) project.
- I managed 12 project support officers and oversaw the training part of the roll out.
- My job involved planning for training, liaising with the OHIS training manager and ensuring that all the staff involved in the EPR roll out were trained
- I ensured that the project support officers (Floor Walkers) were allocated specific areas to support the trust services
- I held regular meetings with them to review progress and managed their day-to-day problems
- I arranged initial and follow up meetings with the services where EPR was being rolled out
- Ensured that equipment surveys and ordering were done at the right time
- I arranged and attended follow up meetings with the services to ensure continuous support was being delivered
- I also reviewed project progress with other senior project managers.
