Having recently returned to the UK from Australia I am now keen to re-enter the workforce. In Australia I was fortunate enough to be recruited as a sales assistant in a high quality homewares and furniture store, Provincial Home Living. I thoroughly enjoyed the role and would love to return to retail, particularly for a premium brand such as Heal's.
I have always had a keen interest in design and decoration as well as an eye for detail. I was enrolled in a Bachelor of Design in Australia, where I developed my passion for interior design.
Prior to retail, professionally, I worked as a flight attendant for 24 years both domestically and internationally. This experience equipped me with exceptional customer service skills and the ability to work well in a diverse team.
In addition to management and customer service responsibilities, I also held a recruitment role in the London base. On longhaul international flights I led the Customer Sales team, meeting my KPIs consistently and ensuring effective inventory management.
Overall, this role demanded exceptional communication skills, the ability to resolve customer issues while remaining upbeat and energetic handling difficult situations through resourcefulness and adaptability.
