Summary

I am a highly motivated individual, having spent a long career in Emergency and Critical Care Nursing both as a senior nurse and a charge nurse.

I have coordinated a multidisciplinary team in a busy Intensive Care Unit, providing the highest standard of care to both patients and staff.

I coordinated the Critical Care Directorate and daily running of Covid Intensive Care.

I worked in the private sector as a paediatric Intensive Care nurse caring for ventilated and sick children in the community. During this period I spent time working with one of these children regularly in the Cardiothoracic Intensive Care Unit in Great Ormand Street in London.

I have been actively involved throughout my nursing career in training and mentoring junior members of staff and have implemented training programmes to maintain and improve standards of care.

I took early retirement in January 2022 to care for my terminally ill mother.
