Whilst working at Sainsburys I have learnt many skills across various departments within the store. I have completed a course in first aid learning how to perform CPR and how to use a defibrillator in an emergency situation. The skills I have gained are being able to work in a customer facing environment whilst performing different asks throughout day ranging from being able to implement a Planagram, code checking, using the till, operating self scan and kiosk, helping with smart shop queries, working stock across the store, being able to help in the in store Argos, dealing with deliveries, implementing a clothing flow and much more.
As a sales assistant I was responsible for dealing with customer queries, answering the telephone and dealing with deliveries.
Assisted in the mail order side of a cosmetics magazine, freelance agent, collection orders from customers, completing paperwork and delivering goods.
As an admin assistant I was responsible for completing orders and paperwork making sure customers got there goods on time. I also dealt with customer queries about there contracts.
I looked after an unwell relative who needed care and attention and help moving around. I was responsible for attending to all her needs and ensured she received the correct medication.
I like to keep myself fit by taking long country walks, I read books and magazines and I am also a member of the local darts team. I also enjoy cross stitch and embroidery.
