• Manage administration of prescribed and non-prescribed medication in compliance with Stirling Council and Care Inspectorate regulations.
• Engage in "Learning to Listen" and "Three-Read" strategies to enhance children's literacy
• Participated in planning and team meetings in a collaborative approach to role. Completed mandatory and voluntary online learning modules to support professional development.
• Guide children through personal hygiene routines and foster independence in managing care tasks.

• Foster mutual respect in children through conflict resolution and guidance on the effects of behaviours on peers.

• Temporary contract role covering maternity leave within nursery where previously employed on long-term supply basis. Hence, responsibilities and job experience significantly resemble current role.

• This role aligns with current Supply ECE role, as detailed above.

Given ECE responsibilities have remained largely unchanged since being employed in this setting, there is minimal detail to add, except to say, it was where implementation of theoretical knowledge acquired at college and university took place and real practice began.

• First key group (14 children) with all pertinent new challenges.
• First experience of children with additional support needs and staged intervention process.
• First experience of Makaton signing, observing first-hand, importance of supplementary visual aids for certain children when needing them to follow instructions.
• Experience of HMIE inspection.
• Operating distinctly under jurisdiction of Head of School, unlike Head of stand-alone Nursery.
• Rigorous responsibility for safe practises during Covid outbreak - especially cleaning and hygiene practises while operating in bubbles.
