- Primary responsibility is the operational management of Tradition’s electronic trading platforms (Trad-X, ParFX, Market Data) to ensure maximum system availability to provide a secure and scalable technology platform.
- Monitoring, Maintaining, Supporting, Designing and implementing infrastructure and also perform hardware tech-refresh, database rebuild, OS build/rebuild, database deployment, Platform upgrade and other software upgrade.
- Also maintain global applications on AWS cloud from build to deployment and tuning AWS cloud components based upon the requirements.
- Work closely with Business and range of internal stake holders for deploying new application and prepare the platform end to end which includes (suggesting the best storage, network & machines). Also planning and conducting sustained resiliency and disaster recovery activities.
- Plan well to push the relevant releases on PROD over the weekend and test it end to end and handover to the business.
- Customize all the packages, versions, plugins, proxies and storage under Ansible and puppet which eases in pushing the builds & version, patches, packages etc.
- Good hands in designing the application and its behavior in DATALAKE & OPENSEARCH to provide a visible data flow and its discrepancies (for the trading & market data-flow is much needed for analysis)
- Monitoring the platforms 24/7 under various alerting tools like Nagios and Zabbix (Includes designing the plugins end to end for various alerts and algorithm)
