Business Management & Cost Control:
- Manage and control financial budget, cost allocations, global resources and planning/ forecasting processes in accordance to group and organisational standards.
- Foster continuous improvement of functions aligned, including systems and operational infrastructure
- Provide input on prioritisation in line with the organisational strategy for the Investment Governance process
Strategy Execution:
- Strategy execution in relation to the core priorities agreed with the heads of the Business & COO function, including people strategy, location strategy, target workforce, organisational design and oversight of operating effectiveness and strategic plans.
- Provide relevant input into the target operating models in line with the function’s strategy in conjunction with COO and the relevant head of function.
People, Organisational and Reporting:
- Manage in conjunction with HR people related processes, including hiring, JR approvals, CWR review and hiring prioritisation/retention, Workday tool management and restructuring changes
- Comply with Regional MLRO requirements for headcount, attrition and hiring reports
- Supporting to develop a people agenda in close partnership with partners from within AFC People Team
Collaboration & Support:
- Provide advice and support to leadership with informed guidance, enabling effective decision-making and strategic planning
- Partnering with CIO and Business Leads in managing the overall IT Strategy for the function, organising the corresponding Book of Work and run the Project & Program Management practice
- Seamlessly control Finances, Resources, Risks, Issues, Governance & Compliance with timely and effective Communications to support Teams Globally Key Tasks/Responsibilities
- IT PPM Financials and Resourcing: - Managing and maintaining end-to-end portfolio financials for CIO area i.e. Managing both Cash & P&L views for Senior IT & Business Stakeholders
- Perform Annual Budgeting & periodic Forecasting activities leading to insightful analysis for CIO - Governance of External Spend to agreed project budgets and predict the forecasts
- Understand and implement portfolio level IT to Business Charge-back mechanism
- TOM review for CIO area i.e. both Internal & External workforce Governance - Task & Team Management to gain complete control on Capitalization mechanism for CIO area IT Project & Program Governance & Compliance
Reporting & Data Analytics: - Analyse organization’s Data Golden Sources and perform Data Analytics to create meaningful interpretations for MB Presentations i.e. MB Review Meetings, Strategic Reviews, Predictive Analysis - Perform meaningful information/reporting to CIO Management Team on periodic and Ad-hoc basis. E.g. Financial Dashboards; KPIs for Balance Scorecards, TOM Analysis etc
- Decision support to senior finance leadership on investment/project decisions as well as strategic organisational and functional developments
- Financial diligence for Cloud migration business case across key Technology work streams – Project Cirrus
- Partner with COO Office and Group CFOs (FDs) in the delivery of their strategic financial goals, as well as establish, manage & monitor performance against financial targets
- Finance Director (FD) for Global Operations for Cash, Trade & Lending, providing financial transparency to CB Operations Management & Finance Leadership team
- Managed Overhead Expense Allocation (OEA) Transfer Pricing process (Recharge of MB-1) for the entire Bank
- Oversight for TP calculations performed by team in Manila & facilitate TP V&C process
