In this role I Assumed responsibility for Transport and Distribution in UK, managing £5m budget. I oversaw the Transport Manager at Gravesend and Wakefield sites, ensuring operational efficiency. I Also directed Moove's UK third-party logistics operations to enhance service delivery.
Reporting to the General Manufacturing Manager, I was responsible for the management of warehouse operations in this lubricants manufacturer and distributor.
In this role I engaged with an initial team of 30 to bring efficiencies through training, process and mentoring. I was instrumental in implementing the manufacturing apprentice programme, successfully recruiting and mentoring two apprentices from GSCE to degree level.
In this time I was seconded to the project team delivering an ERP implementation that saw the delivery of a homogenised system (SAP4HANA) across multiple sites throughout Europe.
My focus was Warehousing, Manufacturing and Quality.I engaged with internal and external stakeholders to deliver a reliable, sustainable and replicable solution that brought efficiencies in process and people.
Reporting to the Operations Director, I am responsible for the management of warehouse operations at a multi-process 180,000 sq. ft. facility.
Focusing on delivery, my remit was to manage budgets whilst ensuring the highest service levels are maintained.
Reporting to the Head of Planning, I was responsible for managing the warehouse and logistics administration and planning teams whilst working with the software development teams to improve and implement the ERP solution.
