The creative industries have become a big interest of mine throughout high school. Since then, I have wanted to find myself a career where I can explore my own creative abilities, as well as the art scene Glasgow has built over the years, from the well-known to the hidden gems Glasgow has to offer those who know where to look. My main interest has been story-telling, primarily through the medium of film and television, being able to bring to life the ideas I have as well as giving a platform to those who need one.
Film and Television Production was the first medium I had an interest In, which was continued to grow throughout High School working with a film group based in Govan, learning camera skills, editing and sound production at a beginner level, which lead me to studying Media Studies, before leaving to study TV Production with City of Glasgow College up to HNC level through this my passion only grew. In this time I was also able to involve myself within many aspects of Glasgow's arts scene, from drama to contemporary performance, I was always fascinated with what was out there, always wanting to be a part of it more and more.
In the future I plan to use the skills I learn from the course, in tandem with my creative, driven personality to build a career in the creative industries.
