Accomplishments

  • One of the senior leadership team of the E.ON B2B Solutions business, E.ON UK is a >£20bn revenue UK subsidiary of its European parent E.ON SE, one of the world's largest investor-owned utility service providers
  • As the Head of B2B Sales I am accountable for delivering large scale renewable engineering solution sales to the largest corporations and businesses in the UK covering all of the major renewable technologies including solar, wind, battery, energy efficiency, software and heat solutions
  • Full accountability for delivery of a point of sale gross margin target of c.£15m pa through a national Sales Team
  • I increased sales from £100k to £40m+ within 1st year (E.ON B2B Solutions), changing a loss-making -£19m EBIT position to positive >£5m+
  • This followed on from achieving similar results at npower Business Solutions delivering step-change performance, increasing gross margin by c314% in 18 months, taking the business from negative to positive EBIT
  • During my time as Head of Business Sales I delivered c50% gross margin increase in 1st 12 months securing over £120m gross margin in 5 years, implementing a new organisational design, sales & marketing strategies & channel development initiatives which increased retention by over 10% and new acquisition growth by c100% whilst consistently achieving net promoter scores of over 85% (Mid-Market Sales)
  • I have participated in 2 European strategic growth initiatives, leading transformation plans across 7 European operating countries, based in Essen, Germany for c14 months, and more recently with E.ON Energy Infrastructure Services focusing on growth through ‘Electrification and Renewables' over a 3 month period
  • I have achieved the status of highest performing Sales professional at SSE (B2B - all markets) and EON (B2B Corporate Sales) with c£30m sales, achieving the EON result whilst also performing as a Senior Leader of the B2B Solutions business and Head of Sales
  • With significant Commercial, innovation & product development experience, I successfully led the npower Pricing Team through several major contract rounds with a throughout revenue value of over £5bn
  • I built & implemented domestic & SME commercial strategies that resulted in the SME business moving from negative EBIT to >£4m
  • I also delivered new product capability to SME & Corporate Teams implemented NHH pricing and complex ‘Flexible Purchasing' Product capability - these products became the foundation for npowers B2B success

  • Personally securing sales of £30m of renewable engineering solutions to some of the largest global corporations, my team is on a pathway to deliver results that far exceed any historical performance levels and the expectations of the UK or Group Board
