I am looking to be moving out to Perth, Australia in late September/October time and am currently looking for job opportunities for when I head over here and would greatly appreciate any responses,
I had originally grown up as a farmer and gained me working skills by initially working on a dairy farm milking cows from a young age on the weekends to earn some extra money , early working experience like this I believe was key to proving myself with the correct working mindset from the start, I have now been with my current company for 8 years were I have grown from apprentice to being fully qualified . Along with my qualifications growing over those 8 years I also believe my leadership skills and communication skills have grown with them while taking on a more senior role within the company.
Began with a 2 week trial with the company while still at school to gain work experience and to see if this was an industry I would be keen on getting into.
I was offered a job at 16 and began my 4 year electrical apprenticeship from there.
I progressed through the years continuing to learn and develop my skills both in site and at college.
Once I had completed my apprenticeship I sat my final exams to become a fully qualified electrician and I was successful.
Since becoming qualified I have continued to grow in my role and become more and more confident in taking on a higher grade of work
I have also had the opportunity to have my own apprentice to teach and to pass on knowledge that I have experienced and gained onto him to help him progress and develop .
Projects that I have been involved in include new build houses, house retires and more recently milking parlours which I was given the opportunity to run and organize from start to finish on behalf in my company.
