Summary
As can be seen from my employment and educational history I have a lot of experience in many areas. I am a keen amateur mechanic and believe I understand Motor Trade sufficiently to be a good fit for the job requirements advertised.
Although I am 62 I am now eager to find employment after fulfilling my ambition to attend university to complete a degree. I believe I still have plenty to offer to any employer.

Worked as Deputy Manager with SIS dealing with customer quotations, invoicing and work planning. This included site visits to better understand customer requirements.
Left this role as existing manager who was due to move to Spain had a change of heart and the Deputy role was no longer required.

Started with ICI in 1985 and worked for 4 years as film process team member. In 1989 moved to the Research and Development section and worked in the group until I took redundancy in 2019, finally working as a Senior Experimental Officer.
The duties role were varied including the following: New Product Development; Computer Programming plant ABB PLC; Robustness Engineer; Energy Reduction; Commissioning (some projects over £1 million); Day to Day Troubleshooting; Data Analysis (6 Sigma Green Belt and Stats for Industry); Global Consultant for Motor Film; Minor mechanical/Electrical Projects; Customer Complaint Investigation and Handling.
During my time I used MS Office software extensively.

Customer Service - This involved investigating customer complaints, meeting with the customers to better understand the issue, Travelling to customer premises to better understand the issues
Administrative - I have worked with many computer software types I have a good working knowledge of all of the MS Office products I also have limited experience with Sage Accounting software
Driving Licence - I have a full clean driving license including trailer capability
Motor Trade - I have limited experience directly in the motor trade but have worked with DA Autos part time in the past I have a good knowledge of motor vehicles and have repaired my own vehicles for over 40 years Including locating my own spares
