  • Held full pastoral and academic oversight of a growing, high-achieving Sixth Form within a school known for its ambitious standards and excellent outcomes. Established a community and culture within this relatively new Sixth Form. Led a team of eight form tutors and a university counsellor, driving student progress and wellbeing. Key responsibilities included: data analysis, student recruitment in collaboration with the marketing team, and contributing to whole-school operations such as calendar planning and staff recruitment. Taught Business and Economics at both GCSE and A Level as well as making significant contributions to the school's busy extra-curricular programme.
  • As whole-school Educational Visits Coordinator led the implementation and enforcement of a comprehensive educational visits procedure across both Primary and Secondary phases. Introduced an annual residential bonding trip for every year group in the Secondary school as well as trip days for the entire Secondary school. Provided guidance on all school trips, ensuring meticulous preparation and documentation. Collaborated with the finance department to manage budgeting and cost approvals, supporting safe, enriching off-site learning experiences. A very rewarding and demanding role due to the volume of trips and the wide range of destinations.

Hobbies and Interests

I always take a keen interest in current affairs, specifically global economics and politics. I enjoy reading books on various historical topics. I am a keen sportsman and enjoy football and golf although, nowadays, I spend the majority of my spare time with my 2 year old daughter so I have a wide experience of swimming, parks and soft play.
