Managing five subject areas whilst acting head of Fine Art and line managing head of 3D design/photography, head of Graphics, head of Food and Nutrition. Holding weekly meetings with TLR holders and 1 faculty meeting with all staff every 2 weeks. Managing of resources and finance across the faculty. Monitoring the quality of lesson panning, schemes of work and teaching and learning of all staff. KS3 and 5 coordinator within Fine Art. Organising visits and end of year exhibitions within the local community. Maintaining strong links with local universities/colleges to help raise the students aspirations. Last year I was also an ETC mentor and in previous years have mentored university students training to be art and technology teachers. My specialist teaching area is Fine art KS3, 4 and 5 but have taught graphics, 3D design, photography and food at KS3. This year I have also taught some GCSE and A Level 3D design. Fostered a positive learning environment with student-centric teaching methodologies. Drove the integration of technology into curriculum delivery, enhancing learning experience.
