I was promoted to team leader around 15 years ago.
Now I'm in charge of the day to day running of the crankshaft line, making sure targets are met and producing quality crankshafts to fit in to motorcycles.
I have been on courses to learn how to program lathes and grinding machines.
I have also found, that I am the person most people come to with a problem, as I can usually find the problem and get the machines back up and running.
I have also been shown how to back up programs, so I would be able to remove a program from the machines and modify them for new models in the future.
