I received many local awards and letters of thanks (Copies available) from acts of bravery, life saving (pulling a person from a river) and whilst at 'public order' training prevented numerous officers from being injured when a stray petrol bomb landed in a large stock of unlit fuel within a group of officers (I ran forward dragging the stock of bombs away from the officers as they exploded)

Whilst working as a security officer at Rolls Royce I assisted ERU officers when a member of staff suffered a heart attack, this resulted in me receiving a letter of thanks from the then director of operations and was recognised through the staff recognition scheme.
