• Surveyor, responsible for undertaking a number of Project Monitoring tasks principally including the identification risks associated with acquiring an interest in a development and provision of advice in respect of works not directly under the clients' control.
• The role requires the review of clients / developers works proposals; the review of drawings (‘take offs') and preparation of budget cost estimates. I provide independent and impartial assessment of projects anticipating potential issues which may affect the delivery of a project. This advice is provided in the form of reports to financial institutions and other similar clients. In addition to this, I carry out regular site inspections, monitoring in respect of contractual and statutory requirements together with the assessment of works for valuation purposes and the provision of payment advice. I am currently assessing / monitoring:

• Responsible for the delivery of design and project management services principally for a number of school improvement and expansion schemes. I have assisted various stakeholders to initiate projects; formulate briefs and project plans, instructed and delegated elements of the work to appointed project team members.
• The role has required me to follow gateway processes, providing business cases, and implement significant design and management processes (briefing, contract administration, change & cost controls).
• The position also included the overall co-ordination and management of design, cost and project management team resources within constrained budget parameters. The role involved the programming of multiple schemes focusing on strict delivery dates, including progress and financial reporting / delivery of the same. My project work (at various stages) included:
• O OCC - 2 No New build section 106 primary school schemes. Total project value: £12m

• Responsible for the delivery of a number of commercial building projects from inception to completion. I have assisted my client(s) to initiate projects; formulate client briefs and project plans, instructed and delegated elements of the work to appointed project team members (both internally and to external consultants). I have been involved in the provision and co-ordination of works packages to contractors', typically comprising of specification / schedules of work, drawings and details.
• My role has included the need for regular site inspections, the programming and co-ordination of the project team through regular site and project management meetings. My involvement has extended to the continual review of projects including Key Performance Indicators, change control and closing projects. Projects for which, I have been responsible include:
• O Babcock / Holdfast – Royal School of Military Engineering (Various Sites), Framework Project Manager. Implementing the client's programme of maintenance works from completion of property asset condition surveys to fully designed works. – Total project value: £5.0m.
• O Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre (OUH NHS Trust), Project Manager. Relocation and refurbishment of an existing modular operating theatre. – Project value: £1.7m.
• O Healthcare (Oxford University Hospitals NHS Trust) Framework Manager. Various sub projects. Total project value: £7.5m p.a.
• O Trinity College – Various schemes (CDM-C). Project value: £2.0m
• O Radcliffe Infirmary – Decommissioning and relocation of radiology equipment (Gamma camera, Fluoroscopy; X ray and MRI). Project value: £0.5m.
• O Corpus Christi College – Project Manager - Replacement Cotswold stone slate roof coverings and refurbishment of a grade 2 listed building. Project value: £0.3m.
• O UKERNA – Project Manager – IT Office refurbishment and fit out. Project value £0.8m.
• O Expert Witness – I have been fortunate enough to have been involved in the provision of expert reports (CDM and Space Standards) in order to provide factual opinion & advice in respect of a number of disputes brought to the construction courts.

• Working principally for Housing Association clients, I have been responsible for the delivery of housing projects from inception to completion. My pre-contract duties included project initiation, planning and review of clients' / developer's works packages, together with the formulation of employer's requirements documentation and contract documentation.
• Post contract administration work included regular site inspections; arranging and chairing regular site meetings; the review of applications for payment and issue of payment certificates; practical completion inspections; managing / coordinating defects through the defect's liability period final inspections and the certifying of retention sums. • Project Engineer responsible for the delivery, management and co-ordination of a number of turnkey radio base station construction projects for mobile telecommunications operators from the initial site search and acquisition to construction, commissioning and handover. The role has required: site inspection and monitoring, the submission of pre-planning consultation work, the completion of planning applications, management of the design process, delegation of works to team members and external consultants, the management of contractors, programming of work and contract administration.
