Started a feed the homeless campaign whilst in the Royal Navy which helped feed upto 50+ people in Hayle, Cornwall. With the help of 3 or 4 others we took the the hot unused food from the canteens on hot plates secured in boxes which kept the heat in the food. With the help from the local supermarkets, who gave us the produce which they were no longer able to sell in store. We would take food in a minibus every other night to the same location and supplied all who came with hot food and food to be taken away which could be consumed at another date.
