Experienced health care professional with extensive experience in maternity services, providing high quality care in fast paced and demanding environments.
Skilled in communication, problem solving, conflict resolution, documentation, team collaboration, training, and working effectively under pressure.
Proven ability to manage complex situations, prioritise workloads, maintain accurate records, and build positive relationships with patients, families, colleagues, and multidisciplinary teams.
Seeking to transfer a broad range of professional skills into a non-clinical role where strong organisational, interpersonal, and administrative abilities can add value.
After 11 years as a Midwife, I have made a conscious decision to pursue a new direction within health and social care leadership. During my career, I have developed extensive experience in supporting vulnerable individuals, managing risk, leading teams, safeguarding, and coordinating complex services.
While I remain proud of my contribution to maternity services, I recognised that my strengths and interests have increasingly aligned with leadership, service delivery, staff development, and supporting individuals with ongoing and complex needs. This is what has led me to seek a role where I can continue to make a positive difference while applying my management, communication, and operational skills in a new setting.
I am particularly attracted to supported living services because of their focus on promoting independence, wellbeing, dignity, and person-centred support. I believe my experience of working with vulnerable people, managing challenging situations, leading teams, and maintaining high standards of care and governance would enable me to make a valuable contribution as a Service manager.
