Currently practising as a pupil barrister undertaking criminal and regulatory work in the Youth, Magistrates' and Crown Courts. Having held legal positions in a variety of practice areas as well as roles in non-legal industries, my breadth of experience assures my adaptability, strong work ethic, and ability to thrive under pressure.
Prosecuting and defending in criminal and regulatory matters, I appear daily before the Magistrates’, Youth and Crown Courts. My cases have included the full spectrum of criminal work, including violence, domestic abuse, public order, weapons and more.
I also have particular experience in licensing matters, often acting on behalf of Transport for London in defending taxi licensing appeals.
I am instructed to represent clients at all court stages, including trials, sentencing, appeals and legal arguments; often liaising with solicitors and leading paralegals through case management.
Advocacy-focused role, where I was responsible for the representation of prisoners in front of the Parole Board, covering parole/recall, the termination of IPP licences, re-categorisation, adjudications and sectioning matters.
Predominantly tasked with analysing a vast number/variety of documents for disclosure. Key to my role was identifying contentious and non-contentious issues arising from a document batch. This was a heavily collaborative role with tight targets and deadlines.
Formed part of the team on the Sheffield Street Trees Inquiry and a highly sensitive aviation corruption inquiry, working with clients including Clifford Chance and Clyde & Co.
Responsible for drafting statements of case, legal research and the overall management of a case. Experienced in all immigration and civil matters, including appeals and judicial reviews and gained experience under the supervision of a solicitor advocate in the County and High Courts.
Project manager for an educational website focused on the legal industry. Created project plans for website development whilst coordinating a team of writers. Additionally, responsible for quality-checking articles before approving publication.
Conducted consultations with clients to prepare advice notes for supervising solicitors in consumer law and housing matters. A research-heavy role often involving the identification of applicable precedents and drafting of case summaries.
Taught English part-time to students of a wide range of ages, from as young as 4 to adults learning English as a second language. I adapted teaching methods to individual students and demonstrated leadership in managing classrooms.
Having starred in leading roles in multiple feature films and television dramas. I employ analytical skills to learn scripts, develop characters, and deliver compelling performances. Filming on set often involves challenging conditions and time constraints, demanding that I excel under pressure.
