Projects

Lumpfish feedblock diet trial in grow out tanks, Trial to understand whether lumpfish can survive and grow on feed blocks alone with no pellet feed in grow out tanks. This trial was undertaken with the aim of weaning lumpfish, entirely onto feed blocks, before being transferred to sea pens in Scotland. Their main source of feed inside these sea pens would be the feed blocks, and therefore if they were previously acclimatised to this, they would have a higher rate of survival.
