  • My main job role is to support the front desk team in all aspects of the job including training.

  • This has been a challenging role for myself due to when first starting all staff were not properly trained and did not know any of Hilton’s
  • Brand Standards, this all had to be implemented by myself along with all new SOP’S having to be made.
  • Having previous experience within a Hilton Hotel was very beneficial to myself during this time and I was very lucky to know how to use the system without and training required.

  • My main job role here is to make sure that all room rates are competitive with other hotels around us.
  • Maximizing sales where possible whether this be through a bedroom reservation, function room or wedding day for my own hotel whilst also generating sales for the other hotels within the group.
  • Up-selling is a huge part of the daily routine.

  • Ensure each reception is running smoothly, checking each day’s banking as we have no night auditor here so reception do this first thing on their early shifts to make sure all cash, cards and vouchers are matching and correct.
  • Checking in and out of guests, answering telephone calls and arranging my own rota’s.
  • Supporting staff members, completing one to ones and training where necessary.
  • Interviewing for staff when needed.
  • Attending managers meetings each week to go over budgets and how the hotel is performing overall

  • Mainly my role is to supervise and train new managers into the way I work at the hotel again to maximize sales and improve up-selling whether it be face to face with guests or over the telephone as meeting weekly and monthly budgets is essential.
