• Worked as the first contact doctor responsible for history taking and documentation, requesting and reviewing investigations, establishing diagnosis, implementing treatment plan and scheduling follow-up.
• Reported cases and reviewed patients primarily with the chief operating officer and specialist doctors.
• Responsible for performing basic primary care ENT procedures such as wax removal and ear syringing.

Upon completion of compulsory 2 years post medical school internship in Ghana, I relocated to home country Nigeria. However, due to the COVID-19 lockdown the process of undergoing examination and obtaining a license was delayed causing a 6 month period away from work.

• Managed common medical and surgical emergencies under supervision of a senior specialist and a consultant.
• Admitted and treated patients as part of hospital's 24-hour on-call services.
• Underwent a 2 week period at HIV clinic and learned how to investigate clients for HIV, manage people living with HIV, assess for opportunistic infection and commence highly active anti-retroviral therapy.
