I am a caring and hardworking Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife with experience both in the UK and Nigeria. I am passionate about supporting patients and their families to have a safe and positive health care experience . I have been working at one of Europe’s largest hospital ‘Nottingham University Hospitals’, within the surgical department where I have built many skills including administration of medicines via all the available routes , iv medicine management , wound care, administration of blood products, preoperative care, post-operative care, aseptic technique for wound care, diabetes management (including emergencies), venipuncture, cannulation, Foley catheter insertions , discharge planning and so many other nursing skills too many to exhaust here. I always aim to be kind, respectful, and supportive to patients, families, and colleagues. I also enjoy helping students and junior staff to learn and grow. My goal is to give safe, compassionate, and individualised care so that every person feels cared for, safe, and respected reflecting an excellent health care experience for everyone I come across.
