Student Support & Wellbeing

• Supported a neurodiverse pupil on two overnight UK residential trips, including the administration of daily morning and evening medication.

• Worked closely with a wide range of pupils, including those with ADHD, ASD, ADD, and emotional/behavioural needs, across Years 7–10.

School Trips & Supervision

• Participated in four international school trips, holding responsibility for a group of approximately 10 pupils.
• Ensured pupils’ safe navigation through airport procedures (passport control, security), and oversaw the safe keeping and administration of passports and medication.

Specialist Unit Work

• Began in the Hafan (wellbeing hub within the ALN department); promoted to a Level 4 TA role in the second year after a competitive interview process.
• Assigned to the SRB (Specialist Resource Base) – the first Welsh-medium secondary SRB unit in Cardiff, focusing solely on behavioural support.
• Worked intensively with two ADHD pupils, while also supporting all five pupils in the SRB with tailored behaviour strategies.
• Adapted resources for learners with reduced vision and helped differentiate classroom content for various learning needs.
