⦁ Designed & developed a full, enriching & unique music department for Sudbourne Primary School (SPS) whilst continuing to teach, manage & enhance music at Clapham Manor Primary School (CMPS). (EYFS - KS2)
⦁ Continued to fulfill and excel in my responsibilities (see below) at CMPS
⦁ Fundraised over £7,000 at SPS to launch a new music department, purchasing musical instruments, equipment, teaching resources & performance resources.
⦁ Established and administered instrumental lessons to 150 students over two schools curating over 4,000 hours of extra instrumental lessons over two sites; including 4 weekly singing assemblies, 5 choirs, and 5 different ensembles (string groups/ mixed instruments/percussion ensembles/wind ensembles).
⦁ Created and managed a financially self-reliant Music Department, keeping costings of instrumental lessons competitive yet affordable to all, offering a 75% discount to Pupil Premium Students, including instrumental hire and ensemble sign-up costs (maintaining a Music Department Fund for equipment/repairs/excursions/resources / etc).
⦁ Built positive relationships & encouraged parental involvement in school events
⦁ Established Music Workshops across the federation for instrumental tutors, showcasing students' performances and concluding with a full Music Department Showcase and Awards ceremony.
⦁ Planned and curated cultural capital, managing over 10 external trips & music festivals.
