Stefan Merrison

I am a Business Economist, well-versed in conducting analyses and studies on the effects of economic conditions on business products, assets and investments.

My experience as an Economic consultant and an entrepreneur has given me both skills as a leader, managing a group of people, as well as working independently.

Through my degree, qualifications and ongoing learning (Data Analyst course ran by Google), I have built a strong analytical mind and the ability to develop software knowledge quickly.

Working in South Korea for 2 years helped to build resilience and the ability to adapt to a new culture as well as a new working environment. Following this role into a teaching role in the UK, I have been able to sharpen my skills in people management as young people can often be the most difficult types to work with! Being a school for students who have been permanently excluded from mainstream schools has allowed me to be creative with how I teach and forced me to adapt to the varied needs of students who have not been able to function in a regular school. This opportunity has led to great personal development that I will bring into any field I move to.
