Having worked in hospitality for over 15 years, I have experience in dealing with restaurant management(cash, stock, wastage etc), as well as staff and patrons, neighbours and regulators in at times challenging situations, ensuring clear way forward is reached, defined actions and outcomes, avoiding conflict, reaching consensus. My people experience in managing stakeholders to the success of the business is demonstrated by linking all parties to common set of goals, allowing the business to grow, one team one goal. My leadership style is inclusive and supportive, taking the greatest pride seeing people shine through mentoring and coaching.
Having a young boy and a teenage son, I am looking at a role where I can use my excellent people/stakeholder management skills, in a normal work pattern outside the hospitality business, so I can spend more time with my young family, whilst still developing my career using the foundation skills I have.
