Volunteered as a registered nurse working in multiple wards throughout the US military hospital as needed including: OBGYN clinic (5 months), Medical-Surgical ward (4 months) and currently in the Post Anaesthsia Recovery Unit (ongoing). Responsible for assessment, planning, implementation and evaluatin of iindividulized patient care. Collaborated with interdisciplinary teams for assigned patients aged newborn - adult.

• Provided direct nursing care to patients in the NICU and assumed teaching and leadership responsibilities. Participated in unit committee and quality improvement activities with minimal supervision. Preformed essential duties such as: Prioritizing assessments/reassessments as patient condition warrants; Initiating and coordinating patient/family teaching; Evaluating outcomes of care and addresses unresolved needs in discharge planning; Providing feedback regarding problems and complaints, and offers constructive suggestions.

• Collaborated with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement a plan of care for a specific group of assigned patients, ensuring the coordination of care between other disciplines and support staff. Performed professional nursing duties that incorporate the psychomotor and age appropriate cognitive skills of the patient/family/significant other to assess, plan, intervene and advocate for the patient on an ongoing basis throughout the continuum of care.
