Harvester is fast pace busy working environment, whilst working here i have been trained on how to use a char-grill, fryers and a whole arrangement of different kitchen equipment to make sure food is cooked to spec, and high quality that is required for customer satisfaction. These fast pace situations required me to take control of my co-workers, to make sure that food was ready to be sent out in reasonable and as fast a time as possible typically from 15-20 minutes. I made sure to work to high hygiene standards to assure no allergens are spread throughout the kitchen, preventing any customers from falling ill.
Whilst working on the backline i was trained on how to safely use equipment required to prep food for throughout the day. This training involved using knives efficiently to assure food is prepared as should be and to prevent harm to myself whilst doing so. The majority of this preparation was done in the morning and had to be done with high efficiency to make sure no food is sub-par for use later on. I was further shown how to properly do defrost and prep and par to assure that the frontline members are set up as should be for later on.
I developed strong customer service skills in my time on front of house where i had to resolve issues that customers may have with the food and service they have been shown whilst dining
