During my time at high school, I have completed the bronze Duke of Edinburgh award and I am currently completing the silver award with hopes of completing gold at sixth form. The Duke of Edinburgh award has given me both greater psychological strength and determination, as well as a newfound adoration for long hikes and the outdoors.
In addition to this, I was also a part of Boy Scouts when I was younger. This greatly developed my team and problem solving skills as well as vastly improving my physical skills.
As well as this, I have completed the Yorkshire three peaks hike which consists of 24 miles of arduous terrain and, I have also reached the peak of Snowdon.
Infinity Blue is a global marketplace agency which works to facilitate and optimise sales for a number of clients on international marketplaces.
· Throughout my week with Infinity Blue I worked closely with Paul Laidler, the Commercial and Partnerships Director, to assist him with a single, large-scale marketing campaign to bring in additional clients for the business.
· Infinity Blue is an accredited partner for Walmart Direct, a relatively new marketplace which Walmart has established as a competitor to Amazon in the US and now expanding worldwide. The relationship between Infinity Blue and Walmart is such that Walmart will provide a list of select, desirable products which they are looking to source and Infinity Blue will research suitable candidates and make the necessary approaches.
· Working with Paul, I created spreadsheets from Infinity Blue’s extensive client database across multiple countries such as, America, Germany and Australia. This has greatly improved my skills on sites, such as Excel, which are key in the modern workplace. Furthermore, I have also developed my analysis skills by looking through various websites and deciding which suits the demographic of business Infinity Blue is looking for and carrying out my own appraisal of the quality and appearance of the business in question.
