Idea Champion 2021 at my current company, a senior software development professional, adept at various stages of the development lifecycle right from gathering requirements, developing scopes, effort estimation and managing project timelines. Promoting Agile methodology, training and mentoring junior employees while developing and overseeing cohesive, productive teams. Also managing offshore delivery centres from the UK. Being with Tata Consultancy Services Ltd (TCS) for the last 12 years, worked with a number of American and European clients and understood the market outlook and customer perspectives thoroughly. Since 2019, part of the technology division of a retail giant, which is headquartered in Leeds, UK. Successfully delivered two retail solutions consisting of web portals and mobile apps. The 'Scan and Go' shopping app is something I am proud to be part of. Efficiently leveraged Walmart Cloud Native Platform and was the first to adopt Kubernetes to containerise web apps and adopt a microservice based architecture. Currently my winning Idea is being considered as next project in the pipeline.

• Helped in huge Cost Savings - Automated the whole manual testing process of Card Payment testing on Verifone devices which completely removed any requirement of using manual testers to test payment process and saved costs. I developed a NodeJS app and hooked it to E2E test flow to call Verifone SDK APIs which mimicked human interaction while using debit/cards to pay using card machines.
• Conversion of monolithic backend app and breaking down to several parts to a microservice architecture oriented application and deployed as Docker containers to Azure. Later adopted Kubernetes contianer orchestration. This was awarded for best practice in the domain.

Winner of TCS-ASDA Ideathon, 2021 : For an idea of Health App for aiding customer’s healthy diet journey, allergen and calorie alert etc.

Special Initiative Award 26-Oct-2021: Creating common component library having reusable components/libraries like Laser scanner, UI components etc that can be used in any application in ASDA.
