Under the mentorship of Karen Binns, I have gained valuable industry experience from a Brooklyn-born, world-renowned stylist, creative director, and consultant with a 30+ year career shaping fashion and music. A trailblazer of NYC’s 1980s club scene and a former muse and close friend of Jean-Michel Basquiat, Binns has worked with Naomi Campbell, WizKid, Estelle, Tori Amos, and Tiwa Savage, and has consulted for designers including Ashish, Feben, Maharishi, Bianca Saunders, and Kanye West.
Through this ongoing mentorship, I have gained hands on experience styling high-profile talent in high-intensity, celebrity-focused shoots.
