
Throughout my education, and time in retail I have gained numerous invaluable skills, which can be transferred into the professional workplace.
One skill that I believe is essential is communication and teamwork. Throughout my part time job around my studies, I was responsible for liaising with various different agencies. I have also gained thorough communication skills, as I have been responsible for communicating with a vast range of individuals.
During my time at university completing my undergraduate and masters degree, I gained crucial skills surrounding research. This involved different analysis techniques of both qualitative and quantitative data.
I began working at Hotel Chocolat as a part time job throughout my studies, initially serving as a Sales Advisor. This role afforded me the opportunity to cultivate my expertise in customer service and communication. Subsequently, at the age of 18, I earned a promotion to the position of Supervisor. This expanded my responsibilities to include liaison with supporting agencies. In this capacity, I also acquired valuable numerical skills through the responsibility of cash management.
This position gave me invaluable skills throughout my early adult life. However, I wish to begin a career around my studies and interests.
