I am a driven and motivated student with a strong interest in relationship management, marketing, and global business. Through my studies in psychology and economics, I have developed a clear understanding of consumer behaviour and how economic factors shape decision-making. This is supported by further study in international affairs, strengthening my awareness of global markets and the external influences on business strategy.
I have developed practical experience in client-focused and marketing environments through work in my family's furniture business across the UK and US. I founded and managed a not-for-profit dress rental initiative, leading marketing, financial planning, and customer engagement. I have also managed social media for a local agricultural show and held leadership roles as a School Prefect, building strong communication, organisation, and management skills.
Last year, I was able to practically implement my interests when I set up 'Letting the Wardrobe', a not-for-profit dress rental initiative in my school, which I expanded to provide dresses to other schools for a small sum with all profits going to charity.
Recently, I was fortunate to be awarded my school’s Enterprise award for my project on sustainable furniture. Following a brief to create a brand and product which would fill a gap in the sustainable market, I designed a chair made from recycled oil drums. This also involved providing estimated finances, marketing strategies, and CAD drawings for the product which I presented to a panel of judges. These experiences affirmed my entrepreneurial determination and commitment to making a difference.
