Summary

I believe that I am a driven individual with compassionate nature. It has taken me many years to learn and reflect on the type of psychologist I would like to be. I believe that I now have a good idea of that. I value honesty and transparency, not only within an MDT, but with the individuals whom I support. I believe in involving individuals in their care as much as possible, and I value the work I have completed that has been coproduced. I believe that my life experiences and my understanding of them has allowed me to create positive therapeutic relationships with individuals and has provided me with invaluable skills in noticing ruptures and resolving these. I believe in treating individuals equally, and noticing and attempting to understand the stigma that exists within systems and how it impacts service users. I am looking forward to taking the next step in my psychology journey.
