Motivated second-year Biological Science undergraduate at Queens University Belfast with a growing passion for immunology and human health research. Experiences in molecular biology techniques, microbiology and environmental fieldwork. Seeking a third-year placement to gain hands on-research experience, strengthen my technical and analytical skills, and actively contribute to impactful and forward-thinking scientific projects.

• Project Work Environmental Biology Field Course: Hands on experience in investigating the effects of pollution in freshwater ecosystems through field sampling and laboratory skills. Analysis of results via data analysis and IT skills such as ANOVA. Maintained precise documentation handling for accurate findings.
• Cloning Techniques Practical sessions: Across a span of 6 laboratory sessions, I have gained knowledge and understanding of the production of Recombinant Plasmids alongside appropriate amplification and selection. This experience provides me with a solid foundation for contributing to further research and developmental projects.
• Deep Sea Mining Group Project: Conducted in depth group research on the ecological effects of deep-sea mining focusing on Habitat loss and ecosystem disruption. Developed critical thinking and disciplinary teamwork skills, emphasising the importance of sustainability and ultimately systemic health.

• Competitive football: Currently representing Queens University Belfast Women's First Team. Developed strong teamwork, resilience and leadership skills.
• Biology tutor (peer support): One-to-one Biology tutoring during A level, supporting a peer in understanding complex topics and exam preparation. Developed confidence, communication and understanding of key principles.
• Painting and Sketching: Creative practice enhancing attention to detail and focus. Skills transferable to precision based laboratory work.
