I have worked as a Cardiac Physiologist since 1998, attending many courses and meetings. These have previously related to Respiratory work also. I have experience in a range of Cardiology tests.
I have been continuously BSE Accredited since 2007, and I am now also working as a BSE Accreditor
Currently I am Cardiology lead for PML. PML provides Cardiology services in the community, mainly NHS referrals, and also Sports Screening across the UK.
My main achievements in this post include leading the Department to achieve BSE Echo Quality Accreditation, and developing the Echo service, and the whole of the Cardiology Department.
I have also led the Department forwards in training newly BSE Accredited staff.
My current roles include some clinical work, audit work, staff appraisals, service progression, addressing any concerns/issues raised and numerous other management tasks.
I am also PML's Infection Prevention and Control lead, which is across all our services, not just Cardiology.
I am caring, hardworking, driven and patient orientated, and I work well with staff from different departments
