•Support classroom teachers in the delivery of lessons across all primary age groups, creating materials to meet the needs of all pupils.

•Assist with the management of classroom behaviour, promoting positive reinforcement within an inclusive learning environment.

•Provide one-to-one support and focus group sessions for pupils with varying abilities, including children on the SEN register and those with additional learning needs or care plans.

•Work closely with teachers, parents, and the SENCO to create and review Individual Education Plans (IEPs), delivering targeted interventions, including literacy, numeracy, and behavioural support programs.

•Prepare and organise classroom resources, ensuring lessons run smoothly and efficiently.

•Monitor and track student progress across all primary year groups, providing feedback to teachers and contributing to assessment records.

•Support after-school, extra-curricular activities, and educational visits, enhancing learning beyond the classroom.

•Collaborate with teaching staff to plan and deliver differentiated learning activities.

•Contribute to whole-school initiatives to improve teaching and learning standards, inclusion, and student engagement.

•Run a breakfast and after-school clubs, providing structured, safe, and engaging activities that promote social skills and wellbeing.

• Eat alongside children to model positive behaviour, table manners, and social interaction during mealtimes.

• Assist the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) in overseeing and strengthening the school’s safeguarding policies and procedures, complying with statutory guidance.

•Monitor, review, and respond to safeguarding concerns, ensuring timely and appropriate action is taken in line with statutory guidance.

•Maintain detailed accurate records of safeguarding incidents on CPOMS, ensuring confidentiality at all times.

•Provide guidance and support to staff, pupils, and parents regarding safeguarding issues, promoting awareness and understanding across the school community.

•Assist in delivering staff training and awareness on child protection, safeguarding, and welfare policies.

•Contribute to regular audits and reviews, to ensure compliance with statutory safeguarding requirements.

•Provide a safe, inclusive, supportive environment, actively promoting pupil well-being.

• Co-ordinate educational visits, and external activities.
• •Manage comprehensive risk assessments, implementing safety procedures in accordance with school policies.
• •Oversee the organisation of educational visit ensuring activities align with curriculum topics to enhance pupil learning.
• •Manage trip budgets, overseeing transport and venue bookings, staffing ratios and updated care plan availability.
• •Monitor trip outcomes through trip evaluation and feedback forms, to continuously improve future educational experience.

• Deliver high-quality childcare and early education for children aged 6 months to 5 years, supporting holistic development in line with the EYFS framework.
• Create themed play areas, stimulating learning activities and interactive learning zones that support creativity, language development, creative expression, early literacy and social interaction.
• Monitor and record developmental milestones, preparing detailed reports and progress updates for parents and carers.
• Collaborate with SEN specialists to create tailored learning strategies for children with additional needs.
• Promote children’s health and wellbeing through routines such as nappy changing and toilet training.
• Support children during mealtimes, encouraging independence in feeding, safe use of utensils, and healthy eating habits.
