During school breaks and weekends, I do part-time babysitting locally, for my family and friends (sometimes mutual acquaintances when I've been recommended)..

• Designed and implemented fun-filled holiday programmes, ensuring children remained entertained and stimulated throughout the break.
• Provided childcare support for children of family and friends during school breaks, enhancing their social skills and emotional well-being.
• Taught manners and other socially appropriate behaviours enhancing interpersonal development among kids.
• Facilitated engaging educational activities and games for children to enhance their learning experience. (The kids I cared for ranged from the ages 2 to 10.).

The 'Sports Leadership'Course was a course that we were allowed to do when substituting Physical Education classes during secondary school, in which we spent those lessons organising and learning how to organise sports activities for the younger classes. In the beginning it started off as younger classes in our secondary school but then towards the end of my time there a selected few were allowed to branch out to help with local primary schools - one of our main events was Sports Day, that took place at our local pool and track and we then had to mediate between the local schools and sort out the tasks that were to be completed. I believe these are the most prominent and refined skills this job has given me.

For my secondary school Work Experience, I spent my time at a local nursery. A few things I assisted with there are:

• Facilitated nap times, promoting restful sleep and daily routine adherence among young attendees.
• Promoted early literacy with storytime sessions and guided reading activities.
• Enhanced children's social development by facilitating group activities and interactive games.
• Created a clean and healthy environment by maintaining hygiene standards within the daycare centre.
• Coordinated art projects to foster creativity amongst toddlers whilst honing their fine motor skills.
• Demonstrated awareness of children's cultural background, disabilities and medical histories.
