Bronze certificate in Duke of Edinburgh which entailed volunteering, map reading, camping as well as multiple health and safety courses.
I was given the opportunity to learn and demonstrate important skills such as effective communication organisation whilst learning to lead basic physical activities to younger students for example. It also gave me the opportunity to plan different lessons in order to how many different students may react to a different way of learning.
As I mentioned before, I was given 2 different opportunities to become First Aid trained, this was before and after the completion of the DofE award.
I volunteered at many different school events, some including charity fayres, christmas fundraisers and school open evenings. I also volunteered for different fundraisers and local charities.
I was given the opportunity to work alongside a group of students to invent a safer way to cross streets. We established neon laces. We travelled across the UK showcasing these laces in various different assemblies, showing different schools and people how to be more road safe and efficient.
