Working in Edinburghs A class club venue (the liquid rooms) taught me how to be responsible and calm in high stakes situations. With the responsibility of running the sound and lighting in tandem during headline shows reinforced my ability to trust my gut and deliver a high quality experience under pressure.
Working solo has brought me a lot of benefits. From time management, self confidence and so on.
Also communicating with the club staff, security and promoters further bolstered my ability to communicate with others and spurred me on to feel confident in my position.
