  • Project delivery: My team and I delivered the organisation's Annual Meeting in 2023, involving over 100 vaccine scientists from 30 countries (we received 100% positive feedback through a designed survey for that purpose).
  • I processed visa support letters and visa applications for VALIDATE members and vaccine scientists from different countries who came to the annual meeting.
  • I assisted in managing the network's grants (from the UK’s Medical Research Council and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation). I also coordinated the grant calls and processed the applications and outcomes.
  • I liaised with the university's finance department on payments, processed invoices for suppliers and processed reimbursement of expenses for our members.
  • I arranged and coordinate the shipments of equipment to our members in Low and Middle Income Countries to aid their research.
  • I assisted the Communications and Events Coordinator with the delivery of virtual and in-person events, including workshops/seminars, public outreach, and training opportunities for members. As well as provide support for the Annual meeting travel bookings.
  • I handled the network's social media page, the VALIDATE website update/weekly newsletters and proofread all posts and documents.
  • I managed, planned and assisted with the day-to-day running of the Network, its activities and administration. I also coordinated the processing of new membership applications and responded to queries from members while assisting with information gathering for funder reports.
